ACTT multi-disciplinary team members consist of a Psychiatrist, Registered Nurses, and Social Workers. The client's voluntary enrollment to the program is paramount. Counselling is provided in individual and/or group formats. Simcoe (519) 428-1805 CAMHS - Community addiction and mental health servicesCAMHS is a multi-disciplinary agency providing clinical mental health care and addiction services. Services include: CAMHS is a team of psychiatric nurses, social workers, counsellors, and psychiatrists who provide clinical services to adults age 16 and up. Treatment includes psychotherapy, group therapy, supportive counselling, and consultation with physicians and other mental health agencies and professionals. CAMHS also provides Specialized Geriatric Services to older adults who are experiencing mental health problems combined with age related difficulties. Based in the Norfolk General Hospital (Simcoe) and the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital (Dunnville) the Crisis Clinician, an experienced mental health professional, responds to telephone crisis calls. When required, face to face mental health assessments and short term crisis counselling are provided. Haldimand Norfolk Resource CentreThe vision of the Resource Centre is to enhance the self-sufficiency and quality of life in an informal, family-like atmosphere that would empower consumer/survivors through education, advocacy, peer support, social and recreational activities, and build the self-confidence and independence of consumer/survivors. The centre is a safe, friendly place where people can come for a visit, have a coffee, and/or participate in the programs and activities being offered.
